The advice I would give to a new student

Improve their time management skill,

A student needs to make a priority of mastering their time management by setting up a daily schedule planner of their day. They need to set proper goals to measure their progress on a daily basis. They need to be aware of the planning fallacy for example if they need more time on work, then they need to work in a buffer into their schedule based on their familiarity with the task. If the task is new then they need to give themselves double the time or more. Set aside the most important projects so they can give them more time to work on. They need to take breaks at the right time and lastly, they need to stop procrastinating and if they do then they need to beat it with the 5-minute rule.

Classroom navigation advice

At Independence University students have to stay dedicative and up to date with what’s going on in their online courses. The instructors will constantly remind them each week when they have deadlines due and making sure they do their tasks on time. That means the students will have to login into their dashboards every day and do their daily checkpoints because that will count as the daily attendance of the student. Communications with their financial advisor, career advisor, and student service advisor can have a successful impact on the student goal and career at the independent university.

Grade advice

Student needs to manage their time well in order to do great at school. They have to have perfect attendance by making sure they log in each day to do the daily checkpoint, each day that counts as 5 percent of your overall grading, and at the end of the course that could benefit the student to score a good grade. They need to listen to their instructors by following all the instructions which are provided and asking questions whenever they have trouble understanding a subject or matter.

Relationship advice.

Having a great relationship with others is a great way of living no matter if you are at school, home, or at the workplace. As human beings, there is always the need for connection and belonging which can extend beyond friendship with peers. When trying to make a friendly conversation with others, the student needs to be present and communicating well with others by making sure they are not judging others and have an invalid opinion about them.
